What is a KCB File Type?
Kindle Create can be used to publish books such as novels, essays, manuals, travel guides, cookbooks and collections of poems. The KCB files allow you to save books, close them, open them and edit them.
To create a KCB file in Kindle Create, select the book type and import the book you want to publish, which must be a .PDF, .DOCX, or .DOC file. To save a KCB file to Kindle Create, click Save File or select File → Save the project or Save the As project. Open the KCB work file that stores your book, and then click Publish. To open a KCB file in Kindle Create select File & &&& rarr; Open Project.
When ready, click Publish or select File → Publish to create a publishable .KPF file. Download the KPF file to Kindle Direct Publishing to be published on the Kindle store.
