What is a DOTX File Type?
Most computer users are familiar with the DOCX file, which is the main file type created by Word and l' one of the most popular document types opened and saved by word processors. The DOTX files are very similar to DOCX files but are used to store templates. It contains much of the same information as DOCX files, including text, styles and images.
