What is a WAC File Type?

The WAC store a sketch in XML format, making it easier for text editors and humans to read the data in the sketch. Like the WAC file, the .WPI file, which contains a sketch, uses a binary format.

Inkling consists of a pen, a receiver, and an Inkling Sketch Manager application. Both the pen and the receiver pick up the pressure level of your pen strokes when you draw them and convert them into a digital image, which is a WPI file. The image can then be viewed and edited with Inkling Sketch Manager. The WPI file can be saved as a WAC file or exported to Photoshop, Illustrator and SketchBook Pro for a later edition.
