What is a VIX File Type?

After the import of a video in Lightworks, the VIX file is created. It will be located in the Lightworks, with the same name as the imported video but with the attached VIX extension. If the name of the imported video is V23P65J.mts, the new file will be V23P65J.mts.vix.

The LVIX files are the same as the VIX files but are used for the .MOV and .MP4 multimedia files.
