What is a SUMOCFG File Type?
It is unlikely that you will encounter a SUMOCFG file unless you use SUMO to simulate road traffic for networks of large and small cities (@) that include vehicles and pedestrians. The file type is intended for use only with the SUMO simulator.
In general, the referenced XML files in SUMOCFG are NET.XML and ROU.XML files, but there may also be other referenced XML files. The NET.XML contains information on roads and intersections in the simulation, while the ROU.XML contains information on roads, vehicles and types of vehicles.
It means "Simulation of Urban MObility," and is available as a set of command-line programs. To open a SUMO file type -c [path to file and file name] or --configuration-file [path to file; access file and file name ].
It is also available with a graphical interface called SUMO-GUI. Select File → Open Simulation... to open a SUMOCFG file with the SUMO version-GUI and choose the SUMOCFG file.
