What is a RGD File Type?
In the game you start on a simple raft and are charged to survive dehydration, hunger, fatigue and sharks. You can gather floating debris in the ocean to create spaces; equipment to survive and expand your raft by building foundations, pillars and stairs. You can plant trees for coconuts and wood and boil the water in order to survive. All progress is recorded in the RGD file when you register your game. You can access the saved games in the main menu of the game.
It is at the beginning of production and can be downloaded as a prototype. Updates to new versions of the game are continuously updated. Your saved RGD game file may not be compatible with a newer version of the game. For example, any game saved prior to 1.04 is not compatible with version 1.04 of Raft.
The game is developed by three students of the University of Uppsala - Campus Gotland in Visby, Sweden, known as Raft Developer. The programmer is Semih Parlayan, while Ellen Mellåker and André Bengtsson are the artists of the game.
