What is a PMDX File Type?
The PMDX files are saved in a proprietary format and are the main file type associated with PlanMaker, a Microsoft Excel-like spreadsheet application included in Microsoft Office. Microsoft Excel uses PMDX files in the same way as .XLS and .XLSX files. A PMDX file is created to store a spreadsheet and can be closed and reopened for further revision.
You can create PMDX files from .PMV and .PMVX templates or from XLS and XLSX spreadsheets. It can also be converted into various formats in PlanMaker, including .PDF, XLS, XLSX, .XLSM, .XLTX, .XLTM, .XLT, .TMD and .RTF.
PMDX replaced the .PMD files, which were used to store spreadsheets from older versions of PlanMaker.
