What is a PIDS File Type?
Snap-on tools such as Verdict, Verus Pro and Zeus are used to scan d' a vehicle to test its performance. Once the scan is complete the data is stored in the PIDS file, which is used to share with d' others or store documents. A wide range of information, such as the air ratio, engine coolant temperature, engine width, fuel pulse, temperature, air temperature, intake, absolute pressure of the manifold and valve timing, can be collected by a scan.
You can open a PIDS file with ShopStream Connect, a program developed by Snap to view data files of vehicle scans, such as SCM, SCP and SCS. Since it is saved in XML format, you can also view the PIDS file with text editors.
