What is a NWDB File Type?
It is likely that you will only see the NWDB if you search the Neat Data folder in your Documents folder. There must be at least three files in the Neat Data folder: a Neatworks NWDB file, a d'file, a NWDB image and a NWCAB cabinet file.
If you find an error indicating that you cannot open a Neat database, it most likely means that' a file in your database is corrupted, locked by another program, or missing. Make sure all three are in the Neat Data folder. If one of the three files is missing, this causes the error message.
An NWDB file is a SQL Server Compact Edition (SQLCE) database, but instead of the apos; extension .sdf, it has l' extension .nwdb. Any program that can open Compact Server .SDF database files can also open NWDB files.
What is a Default NWDB File Name?
ImageDB1.nwdb - The default name given to a file in the NDDB. If there are multiple, the files are named "ImageDB2.nwdb", "ImageDB3.nwdb", etc.
