What is a L3DW File Type?
VTPR projects use external and internal libraries to store project information in order to improve the organization and classification of products. While internal libraries are stored in VTPR files, external libraries are stored in L3DW files. If your VTPR refers to information stored in an L3DW file, you must include the L3DW file in the VTPR file if you are sharing it with another user of Esko Studio Store Visualizer.
By default, L3DW files are saved at the following location.
Visualizer [version] / Libraries.
To create an L3DW external library, select the Tools option in the sidebar of Studio Visualizer, open l' option "Library" panel, and select Library → New. To open an L3DW external library, select Tools from the sidebar of Studio Store Visualizer, open "Library" panel, and select Library → Load.
