What is a KEY File Type?
Keynote is one of the three productivity applications of Apple, composed of iWork, Pages and Numbers. These are Apple 'versions of the more popular PowerPoint, Word and Excel programs, which are developed by Microsoft and available in the Office suite. The iWork applications are developed for macOS and iOS, but you can also access the help of d' a browser on Mac or PC via iCloud.
These keynote presentations can be used for academic, commercial or personal purposes. You can choose to start your presentation from one of the templates provided with the program or from scratch. Once you have created your presentation you can share it directly from your device or via Keynote Live.
You can export a KEY presentation to another format such as .PDF, .HTML, QuickTime .M4V, or as d' a .JPEG, .PNG or .TIFF image. If you need to open it in Keynote; 09 or before, you can export it in this format as well. But the most useful export option is the PowerPoint format, either .PPTX or .PPT.
