What is a ADIF File Type?

ADIF is used in the amateur radio service, composed of amateurs who use radio technology as pass-time. It was published in 1996 and has been adopted by a variety of Amateurfunk programs such as the uniform format for l' exchange of records between amateur radio amateurs. ADIF has three specifications. While ADI files can be used for each format specification, ADX files (recorded in an XML format) are used primarily by the third d'specification; ADIF.

Most of the ADIF files are stored as .ADI files.
