What is a AECAP File Type?
After Effects created the AECAP models for use in the Premiere Pro video editing software. You can import an AECAP file into Premiere Pro using the Media Browser tool included in Premiere Pro or by selecting File → Import and choose the AECAP template. Any changes made in Premiere Pro to the text template will be saved in the AECAP file.
To export an AECAP file to After Effects, select File & &&&&&& rarr; Export & &&&&&& rarr; Composition as a text model or composition & &&&&&& rarr; Export Composition as a text model. Once you export the file AECAP you can not l' edit in After Effects.
There are several ways to import an AECAP file into After Effects.
The AECAP models were introduced with the release of Adobe Creative Cloud (CC) 2017 in versions 14.0 and 14.1 of After Effects. Adobe, however, quickly replaced the models of the apos; AECAP in later versions of the apos; After Effects with .MOGRT models. Premiere Pro still supports models of AECAP but they can no longer be created in After Effects.
