What is a SERVICE File Type?
Systemd init is a set of programs included in different Linux distributions. The system is used to manage different aspects of a server. A unit is a resource that Systemd exploits and manages. Each unit has a configuration file called d' unit. The suffix of the file of the unit indicates for what type of apos; unit the file stores the configuration information.
By default, the d' system unit files are located in the following directory.
Systemd / lib / systemd.
The system files created or customized by the system administrator can be found in the following directory.
System / System / System / System / System.
If you want to modify the service file, do not edit the service file directly in the directory. Instead, copy the file, modify the copy, and replace the original SERVICE file.
Systemd is initiated by many Linux distributions including Red Hat, Arch Linux, Fedora, CentOS, Ubuntu, Mageia, CoreOS, and Alpine Linux.
