What is a GCODE File Type?
The 3D printing requires a large number of files; instructions for accurate printing. It separates a work into several layers. Instructions are generated for each layer of the work or the object and stored in a file, such as the GCODE file, which is referenced by a 3D printer.
G-Code is a standard printing language used by many 3D printers. Some 3D printers, however, use different file formats to store d'commands; printing, such as .STL, .OBJ, .X3G, .3MF and .AMF.
GCODE files can be opened by various 3D printing programs, such as Simplify3D, GCode Viewer, are intended for use only by 3D printers, but you can open them with a text editor since' they are saved in text.
